Berlin Salsa Congress 2027

Step into four days of social dancing, workshops and shared rhythms at the Berlin Salsa Congress. The weekend gathers multiple dance floors where afternoon socials, rooftop sessions (weather permitting) and late-night floors run back to back, giving you long stretches of social dancing each day. Expect a mix of structured learning and open-floor time: workshops and seminars sit alongside extensive social hours so you can practise what you learn with dancers from around Europe and beyond. The programme includes on-site registration at the Tempodrom foyer and event parties in the Tempodrom spaces, including a salsa-only preparty in the smaller arena. Special-format showcases called Stargate are part of the schedule and will be streamed live, allowing friends who cannot attend in person to follow the performances. Dance floors, workshops and social life Daily programming emphasises social dancing: organisers advertise more than 14 hours of social dancing per day across the festival floors. Workshops and seminars cover technical and musical topics and are scheduled so you can alternate learning with practice sessions. Rooftop socials offer an open-air option when weather allows, and afternoon-to-evening socials create natural moments to connect without interrupting the workshop rhythm. Atmosphere and connections The event frames itself as a social-centred congress where meeting other dancers is part of the programme: long social hours, partner networking features and an official partner app integration are promoted to help attendees find classes and dancing partners before and during the event. Expect a mix of focused practice on the floors and casual conversation in the foyer, rooftop and hotel spaces. Practical notes Tickets are offered in tiered passes that bundle social dancing, access to workshops and live shows. Official partner hotels are listed by the organisers for convenient stay options. On-site registration requires an e-ticket and an identity document at the Tempodrom foyer; the preparty is a separately ticketed salsa-only event held in the Tempodrom small arena. If you value long social hours, structured workshop blocks and a programme built around meeting and practising with other dancers, this edition presents many concrete opportunities to teach, learn and dance together. Consider joining to experience the mix of daytime practice, rooftop dancing and evening floors, and to meet dancers travelling to Berlin for the congress.
