Shared dances
Share a memory with an optional MySalsaHub partner. Mutual following and partner approval are no longer required.
Add a public YouTube, Instagram or Facebook video link. YouTube players appear directly without autoplay; Instagram and Facebook open through a direct link.
Authors can edit or withdraw their memories; an identified partner can withdraw a memory too. Old unpublished memories remain private.

My community helps activated dancers search by name or destination, follow each other, review private-profile requests and share personal invitation links.
Choose a public or private dancer profile. Following is independent in each direction, with follow-back, blocking and reporting controls.
Shared dances let you celebrate a past dance with a personal memory.
Published memories appear on an event’s dedicated Memories page, even with private dancer profiles.
Salsa Passport brings together eight Dance floors stamps and eight Travel stamps. Lifetime event and country milestones are separate from Traveler status, which counts attended events as trips each calendar year.
Improvements & fixes
Home brings your people, recent Going and wishlist activity, upcoming plans and current passport stamps together, with direct access to your community.
Following and Followers use compact dancer tiles with mutual-friend counts and direct connection and shared-dance actions.
Unfollowing or removing a follower hides shared memories while preserving them for a future mutual connection. Blocking withdraws them; either participant can also withdraw an individual memory.
Event Memories pages reuse the event artwork and clearly distinguish the author from the dancer who approved the comment. Longer memories can be expanded with Read more.
Account activity timestamps use your browser’s timezone, while event dates and explicitly local travel schedules keep their own calendar rules.

When you save or attend an event, receive an account update when a new shared ride, stay or event frame becomes available. Push alerts follow your device preferences.
Improvements & fixes
Home and dancer profiles now show the complete event banner on desktop, with a smoother transition from the image into the page.
Clearer event buttons, matching animations and tighter spacing make it easier to continue from a featured event to the next section.
Deleting an account now also removes hosted stays with their private locations and feedback tickets linked to the account or email address.
