About the event
About Vilnius Salsa Festival 2027
Welcome to a warm invitation to Vilnius Salsa Festival 2027, a multi-day social dance gathering set in the heart of Vilnius. Expect focused daytime workshops, lively evening parties and plenty of social dancing across dedicated dance floors, all organised by the festival team that has been bringing salsa culture to the city for many years. Whether you come to deepen your technique, practise social floor skills or simply enjoy nights of dancing, the event offers structured learning alongside open social spaces. Dance programme and social nights The programme combines daytime workshops and evening parties, with separate rooms programmed for salsa and for bachata and kizomba. Workshops run in blocks through the weekend and there are afternoon socials and late-night parties that give you many chances to practise what you learn. The festival emphasises social dancing and DJ-curated sets intended to keep dancers moving across the night. Venues and setting Most seminars and the main parties take place at the House of Polish Culture in central Vilnius, providing large dance halls and a central location within walking distance of the Old Town. The festival also uses nearby venues for a pre-party and an after-party, and closes with an outdoor social held in the city (location announced by organisers). This mix of indoor dance halls and a city-centre outdoor social gives a balance of focused workshop space and relaxed social atmosphere. Atmosphere and connections Expect an international social atmosphere that brings together local dancers and visitors from abroad. The festival’s structure — morning and afternoon workshops, afternoon socials with vinyl music, and themed evening parties — creates repeated opportunities to meet partners, practise musicality and build connections across different social dance communities. Organisers stress a respectful and inclusive environment for all participants. If you are looking for a well-organised festival that blends technical workshops with many social dancing opportunities in a compact, charming European city, consider joining Vilnius Salsa Festival 2027. Come prepared to dance, exchange ideas and enjoy the city’s welcoming spirit.
