Vivaz Salsa Weekend brings together dancers focused on salsa and mambo for a programme built around social dancing, music-focused workshops and evening parties in a lively, friendly atmosphere. Across the weekend you can expect daytime socials that give plenty of floor time to practise and meet other dancers, plus late-night parties that keep the music and dancing going. The event’s emphasis is on social connection through dancing, with structured workshop sessions that are described in official listings as music-related and aimed at improving musicality and partner connection. Dance styles and sessions The edition’s confirmed focus is salsa and mambo. Workshops and socials are presented around those styles, offering opportunities to deepen musical understanding and to practise patterns in open social settings. Sessions are organised to leave room for social dancing during daytime socials as well as longer night parties. Social dancing and atmosphere Socials run in the afternoon and into the early evening, creating a relaxed environment for meeting dancers from different places. Evening parties extend the social experience with a mix of danceable sets and a crowd that, according to event listings, enjoys a high-energy vibe while remaining welcoming to visitors and regulars alike. Setting and practical notes Public listings for this edition identify the City Stage at the National Palace of Culture in Sofia as the venue.
